Feeding Guidelines: Place a raw Mackerel for dogs on their food (or a piece of Mackerel for cats) to add some extra flavour and nutritional benefits. Also, they're delicious healthy training treats, especially for kittens and puppies.

Handling Guidelines: When handling raw Mackerel for cats and dogs, hygiene is crucial. Some raw food products could cause illness for you or your pets if mishandled. So for your protection follow these instructions:

Keep the fish frozen until ready to use. Thaw it in the refrigerator when feeding, or you can even feed it frozen.
Keep raw fish, meat, and poultry separate from other food.
Wash your hands, working utensils, and any other items that come into contact with raw meat, seafood or poultry.
Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard them. Once opened, use within 48 hours.

And always supervise your cats and dogs with fresh/frozen fish, especially puppies and kittens.
