To be fed as a meal topper or treat. Intended for supplemental feeding only. The amount of pumpkin puree you feed will depend upon your pet’s weight. Do not exceed 10% of your pet's daily food intake.
- For small dogs and cats, up to 15 ml (1 tbsp) per day
- For larger dogs, up to 30 ml (2 tbsp) per day
Ensure pets have access to plenty of fresh water. Proper hydration is important in helping soluble fibre do its job.
Note, that feeding too much fibre and introducing it too quickly can cause undesirable gastrointestinal symptoms, including intestinal gas and abdominal bloating.
Note, if your pet is experiencing severe or chronic diarrhoea/constipation, a veterinarian should first determine if an underlying medical condition exists.
Handling Guidelines
Store in the freezer. Thaw in the fridge 24 hours prior to using. Create daily servings in a reusable container. Re-freeze what won't be used within 3 days.
