Large: 1 x chew. Approx. 170 g (6 oz) per dog chew. Recommended for dogs under 36 kgs (80 lbs)
Medium: 2 x chews. Approx. 70 g (2.5 oz) per dog chew. Recommended for dogs under 16 kgs (35 lbs)
Small: 4 x chews. Approx. 35 g (1.25 oz) per dog chew. Recommended for dogs under 6 kgs (13 lbs)

Feeding guidelines
Present your dog with a Himalayan Chew. Let them smell it and take it on their own. You will soon see them beginning to enjoy it and work their way through the all-natural organic dog chew.
Always supervise your dog when feeding chews and be cautious to remove it should any potential hazard present itself.
Wondering what to do with the small leftovers?
You can microwave the end pieces on high power for about 45 seconds, and continue to add 10 seconds as needed. Allow the “Puff” (looks like a honeycomb) to cool entirely for at least 2 minutes before feeding it to your dog.
Storage guidelines
All chews should be stored in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.
What is the difference between a Himalayan Chew and a rawhide?
Our Himalayan Chews are an all-natural superior alternative to rawhides as safe, healthy, and recreational organic chews for dogs. Unlike rawhide, our yak cheese dog chews
- are 100% digestible,
- improves dental health,
- are made from 4 pure and natural ingredients, and
- are non-toxic, containing no chemicals and no preservatives.
Furthermore, with dogs chewing over time, rawhides tend to tear into small pieces which when consumed can swell (4 x the size) and potentially block the digestion tract causing serious digestion issues for dogs.
Where did the Himalayan Dog Chew originate?
In the mountains surrounding Mt. Everest at more than 15,000 feet, these organic chews for dogs are handmade using traditional methods with yak and cow milk, and all-natural ingredients without the use of any preservatives or binding agents.

Why are some of your Himalayan Dog Chews lighter and some darker? Why do they have different aromas to them?
Himalayan Dog Chews are smoked using all-natural processes in Nepal. Due to this process, some chews are closer to the smoker and some chews are further away from the smoker. The chews that are closer to the smoker are going to be darker in color and have a smokier aroma to them, these chews also tend to be a bit harder and last a little longer. The chews that are furthest away from the smoke are lighter in color and have a cheesier aroma to them.
Is the cheese fattening for dogs?
The fat content in Himalayan Dog Chew is less than 1%.
Isn’t salt/sodium bad for dogs?
Although sodium in large quantities can be harmful to dogs, the salt content in the Himalayan Dog Chew is less than 0.02%, which is considered a negligible amount. Moreover, salt is used with lime juice as a coagulant in the production of Himalayan cheese.
Do you manufacture the chews yourselves?
As of now, Furchild sustainably sources hard cheese from rural community co-ops in the Himalayas, which use traditional methods in making organic chews for dogs.
