Cindy Mallier Zorro Dear Furchild Team, I am just writing to express our immense happiness with the food that we have been purchasing from you guys.. Zorro our Mastiff absolutely loves his food and seems to polish his bowl clean to a point where we do not need to wash it :) The reason i am writing is not just to tell you that Zorro loves his food but to also let you know how relieved we are now since switching to Furchild We got zorro when he was just about 3 months or so ... and he is now 4 yrs but in these 4yrs time we have spent multiple visits to the vets ( a minimum of 5 to 6 visits a month on an average) and have done multiple tests and blood samples and stool samples and allergy testing all because zorro seemed to have a very very sensitive stomach where he could not seem to digest any kind of kibble. Name the food brand and we have tried it. Let it be regular kibble, or even the medicated dog food you get at the vets, wet food, sensitive food, hypoallergenic food etc etc nothing worked at all. From sleepless nights as dog parents seeing zorro in immense pain in the tummy was exhausting to a point where we were scared every single time he went to toilet we knew what was going to be situation for the next 4 hours (it was super painful). We did try almost every single medication available and subscribed by the doctors and also put him on all the possible probiotics. These past 4 years has been hell for us when it comes to Zorro's tummy problems. Cut the story short we were introduced to Furchild through a friend who forced us to try a few packs from their stock of dog food and from the 2nd meal onwards it was an instant change in terms of tummy problems for zorro. We have been so super impressed that we decided to give it try after all, as we were very hesitant to move to raw because of all the contradicting info given online. Alanoud Alanoud Brooklyn Furchild has really improved my dog's health, my dog was born with a condition called "cow hocks" and it's only in her back legs and they are bent inwards and if she's not taken care of properly she won't be able to do all the normal things that other dogs do like swimming, jumping and landing on all fours and playing without feeling pain. Therefore I always look for what's best for her because I want her to be able to live happy like other dogs. We rescued our English Bulldog Furchild 'Whiskey' back in early 2019; unfortunately, due to the circumstances, we did not have a great deal of background information on her. As previous bulldog/pug owners (family Furchilds) in the UK, we were experienced with the breeds and decided that we would like to ensure that we did everything possible to avoid the common ailments found amongst these breeds and the first step was ensuring Whiskey had a nutritional and well-balanced diet. We met Katherine & Rob at a 'Running of the Bulls' event and were immediately welcomed by their friendly, hospitable, and warm manner and even more so by their knowledge of the breed and were lucky enough to meet their fur-babies Maximus & Syema. We took some information away with us and after some research into raw diets and consulting our friend who is a vet, we decided that we would trial Whiskey on a Furchild diet which she absolutely adored and licks the bowl clean every-time, so much so that you wouldn't even know there was any food in it, to begin with. Since the trial, we haven't looked back and referred all our friends to Furchild whether its cats or dogs, and they've all experienced similar success to us. Whiskey has not suffered from any skin allergies, full of energy, shedding is very little and her oral health is, in our vet's own words, 'excellent'. Sarah Bartlett Moon I started feeding my husky cross Furchild in an attempt to calm the many allergic responses he was experiencing, despite feeding him high-end hypoallergenic commercial dog food. (He was suffering from recurring chronic ear infections and itchy/ bumpy skin issues.) Within a matter of weeks, these issues went away, and they only recur now if I go 'off plan' with his diet, so I am convinced that a largely raw food diet has helped him. I do often supplement his meals with a little plain cooked meat as it helps alleviate the boredom that I see creeping in occasionally with such a repetitive diet, but we have found the balance that works for us. Pascal is fitter than ever, especially in the heat of UAE summer. He even sleeps better and his fur is soft and shiny. Alessandra Milburn Monty This is the only diet that worked with our little Monty (he's a Frenchie) Before and After: Our major concern with Monty was that he always had problems with his stomach. He previously tried Purina, Acana, and Royal Canine. None of them worked for him as he pooed about a total of 5-6 times a day (3 in the morning and 3 in the evening) and never in good form. But from day 2 of having Furchild, his poo was solid and he only pooed twice a day. Which is amazing! We no longer had to pick up gooey poos On top of that he is constantly excited to eat his food (which only lasted about 2 weeks with the previous brands). With Furchild his excitement is the same as day 1, every day. He also looks leaner and happier (in a sense that he doesn't get any more tummy aches) which then makes us happy :) Meals: He's on chicken and now started to mix it up with beef. He loves both the same. He also gets Himalayan chew every lunchtime which is great compared to any other bone that we used to give him. This one crumbles well when he chews it so it’s not a choking hazard. Resolved concerns: I'm sure all dogs are different and so this does not apply to every dog. It just so happens that our little one has a sensitive stomach so when he started, he would vomit or regurgitate daily in the first few weeks which concerned us, but we learned that the first week was him detoxing and then what we also did was after his meals we started allowing him to rest at least 1 hour before doing any activity which solved this concern permanently. Service: They deliver every Tuesday in Abu Dhabi with 10 days worth of food which is very convenient because our freezer then is not filled with frozen dog food. Also, our point of contact, Sylvia, is prompt and very helpful with all the assistance that we needed which made everything easy. Budget: Getting Furchild delivery is a commitment we made when we decided to put Monty on it. It's not cheap so you will need to budget it not only for 1 month but for every month of many years to come, along with other doggie bills. I'd have to say that Monty's health is very important to us and Furchild showed AMAZING results which makes it well worth it. She would we very uncomfortable, itchy and scratch and bite herself all the time until patches of fur would fall out and skin would break. As time went on, reoccurring anal sac infections/abscess' got added to her list on inflammatory conditions. Roxanan Gharrafi Misty, Mysterious, Stormy and Psotta & Georgina I would like to share the story of my rescued Chihuahua Psotka. Psotka is 1.5yrs old. She was used to breed puppies. She was abused, neglected and VERY malnutrition. The condition of her teeth, gums, and jawbone was absolutely out of this world! She went into an emergency dental surgery 48hrs after I got her. She had blood tests that showed overwhelming infection. Her kidneys and liver didn't work properly. Rachael Barton Alba I don’t even know where to begin with the praise for this food. My Alba was on special hypoallergenic food because of various gastrointestinal issues and vets always warned us away from raw diets so I was reluctant to try Furchild but after watching Pet Fooled documentary (on YouTube) I decided to do a trial and after only 1 week I’m shocked by the instant results. Alba has so much more energy- it’s incredible. And I know this sounds crazy but her confidence has actually grown so much as well. Gina Pearson Chip My boy Chip, a Frenchie, suffered awfully as a pup. Parvo had left him weak and a range of allergies left him practically furless. We tried all sorts of top brand, grain free, whole prey kibbles but none were really working for him ... and the Frenchie farts were killing us! We weren't completely new to raw feeding - we'd tried a small batch provider when he was about 6 months old but that wasn't too successful either, so I was skeptical about how well Chip would do on Furchild meals - I really shouldn't have been. His fur grew back within the first month and became thick and soft, not like the wiry tufts he had before. Ricardo Moens May After many vet visits and antibiotic treatments for our dog May, we found she wasn't sick but merely having a food allergy. We changed several times from type of kibble but she became more picky and didn't like it most of the time. Dogs back home were already on a raw diet and my parents had always been happy with the results. We started our search for something similar in Dubai and we ended up with Furchild. We have been feeding him only Furchild food for 3 months now and the transformation is nothing short of incredible. He has lost some weight, gained muscle, barely sheds and his poo has never been better! The only one not benefitting from our dog's new diet is the vet.
