Creative Manager

Marketing, Full Time

The Furchild was created to radically improve the $90 billion global pet food industry — starting with a subscription service that sends freshly-made food directly to customers’ doors. This role is based out of our headquarters in Al Quoz, Dubai and will report directly to the Co-Founders.

WHAT'S THE ROLE?

We are looking for an expert to elevate the creative vision and engage new and existing fans of the growing brand.  This person will lead the creative team and control the voice, identity, and overall vision of Furchild. You will oversee branded touchpoints covering a spectrum of digital and non-digital vehicles, including but not limited to: including ads, printed collateral, retail signage, product packaging and shippers, video, marketing content, and experiential elements that will build the brand. We’re looking for a storyteller who is not afraid to take risks, experiment, and have fun doing it. You must have a passion and be heavily invested in the process to help pets and dog and cat people everywhere live their best lives!
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work collaboratively between cross-functional teams to bring on-brand, innovative marketing campaigns to life through continuous content planning.
  • Influence brand standards for all marketing materials, including photography, video, packaging, experiences, retail, digital, print, OOH, product launches, and social media content.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to uphold brand design ideals in all website and digital user experiences.
  • Work with the sales and retail teams on strategy and design for in-store collateral and signage, including endcap, sidekicks, in-lines, shelf-talkers, PDQs, and more.
  • Own daily workflow across the department, allocate project workload to internal and external resources and manage deadlines and budgets as needed for the creative team.
  • As the leader of the creative department, you will have a responsibility to own, direct, and retain a great team and contribute to the overall culture of the company.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a creative manager, creative director or in a similar creative role. Experience as a VP of Creative, Creative Director, Art Director, and previous experience at a branding studio acceptable. BSc/BA in advertising, fine art, design or relevant field; MSc/MA will be considered an asset
  • Hand-on experience in the creative process, marketing, graphic design and brand development.
  • Have previously managed a creative team, overseeing the following functions: graphic design, digital design, creative operations, and copywriting.
  • Experience executing and directing both retail and digital branding initiatives.
  • Excellent working knowledge of software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc (not required)
  • Outstanding leadership and organization skills
  • Exemplary interpersonal and analytical abilities
